Quotes for over 65 annual travel insurance are available. We rate travellers 65 or 0ver (up to 74) the same and offer differing rates depending on whether the longest trip is 31, 45, 61 or 93 days. A choice of four levels of cover offer cancellation cover up to £10,000, the option of unlimited medical expenses cover and exceedingly generous levels of personal effects.

Family travel insurance cover is available, however we appreciate that once over 65 it is unlikely, though not impossible, for there to be qualifying children (aged 17 (or 23 in full time education)). Therefore the rates displayed are for single travellers as well as couples. There is no requirement for both partners to travel, independent travel is permitted.

Medical Conditions

Once over 65, travellers are more likely to have medical conditions. A full definition of medical conditions is on the quotation page. Whilst it is not a requirement for travellers to disclose medical conditions, we strongly recommend doing so in order that they may be covered. Non-disclosure could result in substantial costs having to be paid. Travellers should be aware that the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) provides limited cover only and is hardly an adequate substitute for travel insurance. Cover is not available for travellers with a terminal prognosis.

Specific features

The annual travel insurance provides cover for trips up to 93 days. This far exceeds maximum limits on length of trips proffered by other travel insurance schemes, which are often limited to 31.
