Data Protection Act and use of information
If you request a quotation from any page of our web - site then the information you supply will be sent to us in the form of an e-mail. If you have selected a fully interactive car insurance quotation then the information can be downloaded onto our main computer system.
This e-mail is stored on a non-networked computer.
If you do not take out a policy with us then this information will only be used to work out a quotation and send you details of the policy we recommend e.g. by sending you the proposal form in the post or contacting you to ascertain more information. You will not be solicited about any other products or services, nor will your information be passed to a third party.
If you do take a policy with us then the information is transferred manually into our administration system. This information will be used to administer the policy and, on occasion, you may receive information about other products and services we offer. The information will not be passed to a third party for their use.
We have reached agreements with several companies to supply on-line and bespoke quotations. We do not receive any personal details about you from these companies and in no circumstances do we accept any liability arising out of the use of the information supplied to them.
