General Exclusions/ Conditions for landlords

Landlords Insurance policies may have the following exclusions/ conditions

  1. Radioactivity, War, Sonic Bangs, Nuclear

  2. Civil Commotion / Unlawful Association in Northern Ireland

  3. Terrorism (up to 100,000 or as required by legislation)

  4. Territorial Limits

  5. Pollution (Unless sudden)

  6. Failure of computers to recognise dates

  7. Failure to declare unoccupancy

  8. Truth of proposal and complying with statutory obligations.

  9. Keeping locks/ security correctly

  10. Reporting claims correctly e.g. to police ASAP

  11. Reasonable access by insurer after an incident

  12. Contribution

  13. Arbitration

  14. Alteration of insurable interest

  15. Misrepresentation

  16. Fraud

  17. Reinstatement of sums insured

  18. Law applicable
